HTC One (M8) Review – First Impressions, Best Android Phone Gets Better

The HTC One (M8) is now official surprisingly exactly nobody thanks to the volley of leaks surrounding the handset, but don’t let that put you off as the new HTC One is still a very promising device. With top of the range specs and a sultry design the new HTC One is going head to head with the big boys of the mobile arena, with the Samsung Galaxy S5 and Sony Xperia Z2 firmly in its sights. We can’t forget about the LG G3 or the iPhone 6 either, but with both handsets yet to actually be announced it’s currently a three way battle at the top of the mobile market.

The new HTC One M8 is a nice upgrade from last year’s model, with a big 5-inch screen, some cool gestures and a killer camera. But the overall experience is very similar. It’s a great Android device — and has some of the best speakers you’ll ever find on a smartphone — but it doesn’t have much extra to offer current One owners.
The swipe up to unlock feature is geniouse( even though lg had the tap tap thing first). I gotta say this is a real solid phone if you really want to stand out from the samsung and apple users this is the one to go with, theres really nothing to bad against this phone and HTC gives you a real treat & VZW exclusive sounds awesome! When looking at the to phones. M8 and the s5 there is no doubting that the m8 looks better. As of now there is no competition in regards to the specs and BoomSound. For me, BoomSound is the killer component and I can’t wait to get M8. The metal unibody design is just a plus.
